“On plum trees, mountains and water”
梅 山 水 .
Inspired by the surrounding nature of mountains and the sea, painting is to concentrate on the abstract. A landscape is a balance between the elements, their presence, manifestation, their interwoven interactions. Painting water, the ‘song of water‘, tells about trees and mountains, a brush stroke is an entering into communication.
In 2024 and 2025 the study of Chinese painting brought forward several series of long horizontal oil paintings on canvas board.
In the beginning of 2025 came the invitation for an artist residency at Kyoto in Japan resulting in the exhibition “On plum trees, mountains and water”
